About Me & My Art
My creative roots go back to my childhood, when I spent joyful hours working with clay in my mother’s pottery studio. She encouraged a free, intuitive approach to making -letting the material guide the outcome - which has shaped my artistic process to this day.
I pursued formal training with an Art Foundation course, followed by a Design Degree in Ceramics. During that time, I taught pottery and eventually moved into a rewarding career in secondary Art & Design education. Teaching creative expression to teenagers brought immense fulfilment and allowed me to share the value of visual storytelling and artistic exploration.
Now, I’m embracing a new chapter - growing my career as an artist alongside my work in art education. While still teaching, I dedicate time to developing a consistent creative practice and building a collection of original, expressive paintings. My work is designed to bring tranquillity, imagination, and emotional depth into everyday spaces, offering moments of calm and reflection through contemporary abstract art.
This renewed creative focus didn’t happen overnight - it’s the result of a deeply personal journey back to what truly lights me up.

Rediscovering my passion!
As life evolved, family responsibilities and the rhythm of teaching took priority over my own creative practice. Becoming a single mum brought its own challenges, but also strengthened my determination to one day return to my art. As my children grew older and independence blossomed, I finally found the courage and space to reconnect with the artist in me.
Rediscovering my passion for art has been deeply fulfilling. Now, as an emerging artist, I create contemporary atmospheric and expressive artwork that reflects the stillness and emotional depth I’ve come to value. Inspired by nature’s hues and life’s quieter moments, my work offers a peaceful presence - art that enhances mindful living and adds atmosphere to interiors.
Each painting is crafted to evoke a sense of serenity and soul, offering an emotional escape from daily noise. Whether displayed in a calming home environment or a thoughtfully designed space, my nature-inspired wall art aims to foster beauty, balance, and quiet reflection.
